AP Summer Institute 2025

The Institute is designed for both new, relatively inexperienced teachers and experienced AP teachers desiring new strategies and methods. Teacher participants will earn 30 Professional Development (PD) hours for full attendance.

A group participates in a hands-on project in a biology lab as part of Fisher's AP Summer Institute.

The College Board-endorsed Institute includes in-depth training in AP courses and teaching strategies, led by a College Board-endorsed consultant. Teachers will receive digital materials, including course outlines; content-related handouts; and student samples, scoring guidelines, and commentary for the most recent AP Exam free-response questions.

AP Summer Institute Dates

The APSI will be a four-day experience with hours from:

  • Monday, July 14 - Thursday, July 17: 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

For in-person courses, lunch will be provided daily.

Register for AP Summer Institute

Registration is a two-step process:

  1. Register for the course and pay at Fisher Next Registration.
  2. Register with College Board in order to receive the 30 Professional Development (PD) hours. No payment is required during this step.
