11/16/2020 - There isn’t an industry, sector, or profession that hasn’t felt the jolting changes caused by the rapid spread of the novel coronavirus. But, it could be argued that education, in particular, has felt that disruption more than other entities, as teachers, administrators, students, and families experience new models of education together. This fall, Collegium is highlighting Fisher alumni educators who are letting their creativity fly in this new educational landscape.

11/16/2020 - The College will become the first in Upstate New York to implement an Apple 1:1 program for all undergraduate students.

09/14/2020 - For the tenth year in a row, St. John Fisher College has earned a place on the U.S. News & World Report’s annual “America’s Best Colleges” feature.

$2 Million Gift to Establish the DePeters Family Center for Innovation and Teaching Excellence at St. John Fisher College Jack ’73 and Donna DePeters, with President Gerard J. Rooney, at the 2019 Teddi Dance for Love. The DePeters announced a $10,000 gift to the Teddi Dance during the fundraiser's opening ceremony.

09/09/2020 - St. John Fisher College today announced the creation of the DePeters Family Center for Innovation and Teaching Excellence thanks to a $1 million gift from Jack ’73 and Donna DePeters. Jack retired from Wegmans Food Markets after 52 accomplished years of service to the food company, and in honor of his retirement, Wegmans matched the $1 million gift in December 2019.

09/07/2020 - This week, Fisher faculty have organized a teach-in as part of the national Scholar Strike movement designed to educate and encourage dialogue surrounding issues of police violence and racism.
