Wegmans School of Nursing Facility Highlights
The Wegmans School of Nursing is a 41,000 square-foot state-of-the-art facility located near the center of campus.
In addition to teaching laboratories and offices for faculty and administration, the facility houses two large computer labs; classrooms, including an interactive space to support team-based, collaborative learning; a video conferencing-equipped seminar room; and the Fisher’s Health and Wellness Center.
Glover-Crask Simulation Center
The School is home to the Glover-Crask Simulation Center, a 10,400-square foot space that mirrors a hospital unit. Center features include:
- Five individual simulation rooms, including an obstetrics and pediatric room, with specialized simulation medical equipment
- Community space used for home care visit role-play and scenarios
- Control room for faculty simulation facilitation
- Three debriefing rooms
- Additional classrooms
- Faculty offices
The Center provides enhanced training and experience through the use of a Pyxis MedStation system, the leading automated medication dispensing system supporting decentralized medication management.

Augmented Reality Classroom
A redesigned classroom in the School of Nursing features immersive 3D learning. The classroom includes virtual and augmented reality technology to provide a space where students can practice providing patient-centered care with immediate instructor feedback.
Learning Resource Center
The School's Learning Resource Center is designed to provide guided instruction for junior and senior nursing students, as well as resources for graduate students.
The facility contains two major nursing laboratories. The nursing skills lab is an undergraduate skills laboratory with equipment, supplies, and medium fidelity simulation mannequins for practice of technical skills in simulated hospital or nursing home settings. The Health Assessment Lab includes examination tables and equipment found in ambulatory/primary care settings.

Mental Health Counseling Facilities
Students in the School's mental health counseling program take advantage of training facilities that feature one-way mirrors, video cameras, video monitors, and live observation. The six-room training lab includes rooms for individual counseling sessions, working with couples or groups, and even a play therapy room for working with children.
