06/22/2020 - This summer, Dr. Dianne Cooney Miner will retire from her role as founding dean of the Wegmans School of Nursing and transition full-time to her role as executive director of the Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing.

06/09/2020 - Dr. Tara Sacco, visiting assistant professor in the Wegmans School of Nursing, was recently recognized by the Eastern Nursing Research Society (ENRS) for excellence in nursing research.
06/02/2020 - Each year, St. John Fisher College honors graduating seniors for their academic successes. Among the Class of 2020, eight students who graduated in August 2019, December 2019, and May 2020 were recognized for exceptional academic performance. These are the highest honors bestowed to baccalaureate students during their time at the College.
06/01/2020 - St. John Fisher College has been recognized for its commitment to engaged, experiential education by Colleges of Distinction, which is celebrating its 20-year anniversary as a one-of-a-kind guide for college-bound students. Year over year, Fisher has consistently earned the designation as a College of Distinction.

04/30/2020 - Fun. Exciting. Amazing. That’s how Tre’vonnte Holmes describes his first year at St. John Fisher College. A native of Detroit, Michigan, Holmes came to campus to pursue a degree in sport management. Along the way, he has engaged in some of Fisher’s best traditions and carved out his very own study space in Lavery Library.
04/20/2020 - All 75 December 2019 graduates of the Wegmans School of Nursing exceeded the New York State average in their ability to successfully pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) on their first attempt.
04/16/2020 - Bryce Bishop has seen a lot. As a member of the National Guard, he has been deployed to combat areas before, traveling to Afghanistan, Iraq, Qatar, and Africa. This time, he’s helping to stop a different enemy on the health care front lines battling COVID-19.
04/01/2020 - Two members of the Wegmans School of Nursing community, Deborah Maier and Wendy Hou, presented research at the National Association of Clinical Nurse Specialists Annual Conference earlier this month.
