Positively Impacting Patient Care Practices
Dr. Phillips worked with her ambulatory care practice colleagues and post-graduate pharmacy resident to characterize prescribing patterns of diabetes medication at an adult clinic. Researchers identify patterns for comprehensive management of patients with type 2 diabetes.
Improving Outcomes During the Transition of Care
Dr. Nathan worked with colleagues from URMC, Arizona State University, and Vanderbilt University to develop patient-centered considerations for deprescribing potentially inappropriate medications during the transition from hospital to home.
Advocating for the Profession
Dr. Williams wrote a letter to legislators to advocate for an expanded scope of practice allowing pharmacists to dispense 1st doses of buprenorphine with a nonpatient specific order.
