12/09/2024 - The Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing at St. John Fisher University received $50,000 through the Special Olympics Health 2024 Systems Change in Inclusive Health Subgrant, funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The grant will fund the creation of professional development materials that will prepare advanced practice providers (APPs) to deliver quality care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).

11/25/2024 - The Golisano Institute for Developmental Disability Nursing at St. John Fisher University, in partnership with the RUSH University College of Nursing and University of Minnesota Institute on Community Integration, was awarded a grant from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This is the University’s first grant from the NIH.

The University submitted 30 grant proposals and was awarded 18, securing more than $17.3 million in funding from various sources that contribute to improving programs and services for students.

06/18/2024 - Dr. Elizabeth (Lisa) Phillips, associate professor and chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administration at the St. John Fisher University Wegmans School of Pharmacy, has received a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program award for the 2024-2025 academic year.
