Appointments
Medical
We provide medical services and assistance to students through appointments. While walk-ins may be accommodated for more urgent or emergent needs, we recommend that students who need to be seen by our team schedule an appointment.
- To make an appointment, call: (585) 385-8280. We will gather some information about what is occurring for you and offer an appointment based on this report.
- PPD appointments can be scheduled through our Patient Portal. Please log into your Patient Portal and review the information provided on the Appointments Tab to determine if your appointment could be scheduled online.
- Students can also walk into the center to report what is occurring. We do not recommend this mode of scheduling for students who have flu-like symptoms or an active fever.
Any student who is being seen for an illness-related visit will be asked to mask while they are receiving services at the center.
Counseling
Counseling appointments are scheduled online through the Patient Portal. We offer Rapid Access appointments. These are 30 minute first-time appointments where students can connect quickly to a counselor.
Please reference the counseling services page for more information on our services.
Mental health services can also be offered over a HIPAA-compliant Zoom platform.
Responding to an Emergency
Emergencies may arise on campus. An emergency is any situation that requires an immediate response. If you are on campus and facing a situation that requires an emergency response, please contact the Office of Safety and Security at (585) 385-8111. The Safety and Security team is best prepared to respond and decide next steps. You can also call 911. Generally, 911 will contact Safety and Security for an additional on-campus response.
If you are off campus and have an emergency, please contact 911.
If you are having thoughts of suicide and/or a mental health emergency, contact Safety and Security at (585) 385-8111 (on campus), contact 911 (off or on campus), or the National Suicide and Crisis Hotline at either 988 or 1 (800) 273-8255.
