About Your Room

Welcome Home!

If you would like more information about living on campus, read our new student FAQ section and explore the residence halls.

Room and Residence Hall Amenities

You and your roommate(s) will each have a bed (which needs extra long twin bedding), dresser, desk, desk chair, and wardrobe/closet. University furniture cannot be removed from your room.

Each residence hall offers Wi-Fi, cable in lounges, laundry, and lounge spaces. For a detailed description of each residence hall and the different amenities available, please review the residence hall pages.

Room Furniture Set-Up

Due to a limited supply of extra bed frames, beds may not be lofted, however, the height of each bed is adjustable. Although the beds are not lofted, they will be set to the highest adjustment to provide storage underneath. We chose this as the standard it is the most common furniture set-up that students request.

Facilities Services will be available in the residence halls on move-in day to assist students who wish to adjust their bed height and/or move furniture.

Internet

Internet is included with housing. Students have the option to connect their devices using a wired ethernet connection or wirelessly using the residence hall Wi-Fi. Students who wish to connect using a wired connection are responsible for providing their own ethernet cable.

Laundry

Free laundry facilities are located in every residence hall. Fisher provides high efficiency front load washers, so H.E. liquid laundry detergent is recommended.
