03/20/2025 - Registration is now open for the 2025 Fisher Showcase, an event that features the creative and scholarly works of University students, faculty, and staff.

03/07/2025 - The executive leadership program will host a free leadership speaker series throughout the month of March featuring a former dean and program alumni from across the state, including Buffalo, Syracuse, Rochester, and the greater Westchester and New York City area. The series will focus on care and compassion for effective organizational leadership.

01/30/2025 - St. John Fisher University recently announced the Dean’s List honorees for the Fall 2024 semester, which includes more than 1,400 undergraduate students.

01/29/2025 - This year, the Cavanaugh Dialogues will take on a new format, bringing together faculty members from across campus to explore the impact of artificial intelligence on society.

01/23/2025 - Farid Johnson, a doctoral candidate in the executive leadership program at St. John Fisher University, was recently honored as Elementary School Principal of the Year by the School Administrators Association of New York State (SAANYS).

01/21/2025 - Several online graduate offerings at St. John Fisher University were recognized in the U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Online Programs ranking.

01/20/2025 - The next student featured in our “Countdown to Commencement” series is Emily McLaughlin, an inclusive childhood education major with a concentration in mathematics. She was nominated by Coach Sarah Cartmill, the head women’s basketball coach.

01/13/2025 - Each year, faculty and staff nominate members of the graduating class for “Countdown to Commencement,” a video series which recognizes the accomplishments of soon-to-be-alumni of the University. Fisher News Highlights features a student every week of the spring semester, as we countdown to the Commencement celebrations in May.

01/09/2025 - This May, St. John Fisher University will celebrate members of the Class of 2025 during its 71st Commencement.

12/17/2024 - The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education at St. John Fisher University is introducing a new reduced tuition model for its master’s degree programs in inclusive education, library media, literacy education, and educational leadership. The new tuition will be effective beginning summer 2025.
