01/27/2020 - This April, students will have a unique opportunity that requires a boarding pass, a stack of business cards, and 48 free hours. It’s called Fisher Flight Plan, an immersive career networking and exploration experience, and applications are now being accepted.
12/13/2019 - As students file into the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. School of Education’s Technology Classroom, no one opens their laptops. The smart board is off. Instead of neat rows of desks, the furniture is against the wall. Students unroll yoga mats and settle in for their evening class, Yoga and Mindfulness for Educators.
12/06/2019 - For over 20 years, incoming first-year students have signed the Fisher Creed as part of the annual Matriculation Ceremony, officially marking the end of their Orientation and the beginning of their student journey. But this fall, throughout the final week of classes, first-year students participated in new Creed signing ceremonies while also reflecting on what they have learned in their first semester at Fisher.
10/17/2019 - Sophia Sportelli came to St. John Fisher College to study early childhood education with a focus on biology. A native of Syracuse, New York, she described her first six weeks on campus as exciting, challenging, and welcoming.
10/16/2019 - St. John Fisher College, in partnership with Finger Lakes Community College (FLCC), aims to alleviate the teacher shortage in high-needs rural districts through its newly created Noyce INSPIRE Scholarship Program.
09/13/2019 - This fall, St. John Fisher College students will see 13 new faculty members in their classes.
