03/27/2020 - Seniors Oskarys Fermin and Luisa Rodriguez and sophomore Tamaron McKnight co-presented a paper with Dr. Lisa J. Cunningham, visiting assistant professor of English and director of Women and Gender Studies, in Dallas, Texas, at the 28th annual National Association of African American Studies National Conference in late February.

Study abroad alumna. Research fellow. Skier and soccer player. You could say that in four short years, Hannah Batten, this week’s featured senior in the Countdown to Commencement series, has taken full advantage of her time at St. John Fisher College.
03/11/2020 - Dr. Tim Franz is certainly busy in his role as professor of psychology at Fisher. Franz is sought out as an expert in social behavior, work motivation, applied research methods, and group/team psychology, and has been quoted in several newspapers and magazines, including USA Today. In addition, he has authored a book on team development and articles for two dozen peer-reviewed publications.

03/09/2020 - St. John Fisher College and the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) have announced affiliation agreements providing select undergraduate students at Fisher early provisional acceptance into LECOM’s School of Dental Medicine and College of Osteopathic Medicine.
03/08/2020 - Meet C.J. Wild, this week’s featured senior in the Countdown to Commencement series. The philosophy and religious studies major is the first to be nominated by three members of the Fisher faculty and staff: Dr. Tim Madigan, professor and chair of philosophy and classical studies; Fr. William Graf, associate professor and chair of religious studies; and Matt Berry, assistant director of freshman admissions.

03/03/2020 - Dr. Roger L. Easton, Jr., a faculty member at the Rochester Institute of Technology, will present the lecture, "Modern Imaging Technologies and a New Golden Age of Manuscript Studies," at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, in Cleary Family Auditorium.
02/20/2020 - A new art installation in Pioch Hall highlights recent efforts to create a welcoming and inclusive environment on campus. The project consists of a series of flag-inspired panels representing inclusion, patriotism, and compassion in the context of the many intersectional communities at Fisher. This creative undertaking is just one result of ongoing interdepartmental diversity and inclusion work at the College.
02/19/2020 - Graduates from the Class of 2019 are finding success in their lives after Fisher, according to results from the First Destinations Survey (FDS) administered by the College annually to all bachelor’s, master’s, and doctorate degree recipients.
