09/19/2023 - Two St. John Fisher University seniors, Tony DiRubbo ’24 and Adelisa Badzic ’23 have been named 2023 Media Fellows from the Washington Media Scholars Foundation (WMSF). They were among only 70 students from a national pool of applicants selected for the fellowship program.
09/18/2023 - St. John Fisher University is among the top 200 institutions in the country, earning multiple spots on the U.S. News & World Report’s annual “Best Colleges” feature.
09/13/2023 - Born and raised in East Syracuse, New York, Jennah Ferrari ’23 found her calling at St. John Fisher University. Prior to attending Fisher, Ferrari knew her interests including education, psychology, and financial planning. At Fisher, she was able to explore career paths outside of classroom teaching, something that opened her eyes to the options available to her.
09/04/2023 - This fall, St. John Fisher University welcomes 17 new faculty members to its classrooms.
08/15/2023 - Hannah Gross, a 2023 graduate, was a legal studies major and feels that a Fisher education has been an integral part of her success. “Not only have I learned an immense amount in my classes, I have also learned a ton from the people I have met and the experiences I have had. These last four years have been filled with learning and growing as an individual.”
08/14/2023 - This summer, 25 St. John Fisher University undergraduates majoring in 11 different disciplines had the opportunity to conduct original research alongside a faculty mentor through the Summer Fellows Research Program.
08/10/2023 - St. John Fisher University has partnered with Syracuse University’s Newhouse School of Public Communication to offer a 4+1 program, allowing qualified students to earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in five years.
08/09/2023 - Biology major Conner Bennett ’23 is a member of St. John Fisher University’s Class of 2023. Hailing from Aurora, New York, Bennett began attending Fisher considering a career in health care before discovering his passion for laboratory research.
08/01/2023 - St. John Fisher University recently announced the Dean’s List honorees for the Spring 2023 semester, which includes more than 1,200 undergraduate students.
