06/20/2019 - Students in the Department of Media and Communication at St. John Fisher College won three of the six awards given to students during the Rochester Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) annual PRism Awards.
06/18/2019 - This June, three faculty members from St. John Fisher College were selected to attend the eleventh annual Summer Institute (SI) for Faculty at the University of Notre Dame’s Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies. The SI is a week-long training for academics who want to launch or strengthen peace studies programs at their colleges or universities.
06/16/2019 - It’s 6:30 p.m. The account manager and creative director are finalizing a creative brief for a client presentation in the morning. The social media manager is creating content for next week’s client event, while the managing partner is tweaking an analytics report to round out a client project as the semester comes to an end. By 7 p.m., they will all be in the dining hall, back into college student mode before they head to the library for a late night of studying.
06/11/2019 - Education in Chemistry, a magazine for chemistry teachers published by the Royal Society of Chemistry, recently featured the article, Does this resonate with you?, which explored a study coauthored by Thomas Kim, professor and associate dean of the School of Arts and Sciences at St. John Fisher College.
06/10/2019 - Dr. Jack Rosenberry, a professor in the Department of Media and Communication, recently published research in collaboration with The Kettering Foundation, which is known nationally and internationally for its work in promoting citizen engagement with democratic practices.
06/04/2019 - Dr. Tim Madigan, professor of philosophy and chair of the Department of Philosophy and Classical Studies, gave a presentation at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Poland this April.
