02/06/2024 - Soaring: A Journal of Undergraduate Research is currently accepting submissions for its upcoming issue. The publication invites advanced undergraduate students to submit their research papers for publication.
02/05/2024 - Next to be featured in our “Countdown to Commencement” series is Mia Donohue, a student majoring in public health and psychology. Donohue was nominated by Dr. Marlowe Washington, senior diversity officer.
01/31/2024 - Public historian James Levy will deliver the Spring 2024 Cavanaugh Lecture at St. John Fisher University. Sponsored by the English Department, the event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, in the Golisano Gateway Midlevel, and is free and open to the public.
01/29/2024 - This week’s soon-to-be graduate featured in the “Countdown to Commencement” series is Gianna Giglio, a media and communication major. Giglio is the first nominee in the history of the series to be nominated by four members of the faculty and staff.
01/22/2024 - The next student to be featured in our “Countdown to Commencement” series is Elisa Gendron-Belen, a sport management student with a minor in international studies. Gendron-Belen was nominated by Dr. Katie Burakowski, assistant professor and chair of sport management.
01/18/2024 - On Tuesday, Jan. 2, Isaiah Santiago, a sophomore at St. John Fisher University, made history as he was sworn in as the youngest member to ever serve on the Rochester City School Board.
01/12/2024 - Dr. Eboo Patel, founder and president of Interfaith America, the leading interfaith organization in the United States, will deliver a lecture as part of St. John Fisher University’s Spirit of Identity Week. Free and open to the public, Patel’s talk is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17, in Cleary Family Auditorium in Kearney Hall.
